Spain

Spain is a country located in Southwestern Europe, occupying most of the Iberian Peninsula, along with two archipelagos, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, and two cities, Ceuta and Melilla, located on the North African coast. It is bordered to the north and northeast by France and Andorra, and to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea. Spain is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy with a rich cultural heritage influenced by various historical civilizations, including the Romans and Moors. The official language is Spanish, but several regions have their own co-official languages, including Catalan, Galician, and Basque. Spain is known for its diverse geography, ranging from beaches to mountains, as well as its contributions to art, literature, and cuisine. The capital city is Madrid. Spain is a member of the European Union and is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.
